Global Business (6 Days)

This blog post is part of a series where I chronicle my advancement through WGU’s Bachelor of Science, Business – Information Technology Management degree. It includes detailed reports on my study methods and strategies as well as occasional tips and tricks. To see all entries in this series, click the “WGU” link under “Categories” on the left sidebar (bottom of the page if viewing on mobile).

Unfortunately there’s not a lot that I can say about this class. I was suffering from both the flu and strep-throat while taking it, and so I failed to keep any kind of detailed notes.

What I can say is that I:

  1. Listened to the cohorts
  2. Took the PA
  3. Determined 4 chapters, based on the coaching report, to focus my studying
  4. Read the 4 chapters
  5. Scheduled, Took, and Passed the OA

I will say that this class isn’t difficult. If I had been feeling better, I don’t believe it would have taken 6 days. If you’ve taken Micro– and Macroeconomics then this class will be a logical progression, and will re-hash some of what you’ve already learned, just in a different context.

Based on the OA there are some classes that I suggest taking prior to this one:

  • Organizational Behavior
  • Fundamentals of Management
  • Financial Accounting
  • Microeconomics
  • Macroeconomics
